Health, Safety and Wellbeing
As you may be aware City Nursery has remained open throughout the COVID19 pandemic, initially doing vital work as a hub for the children of key workers, and from August to December 2020 open fully for the return of all children. Following the most recent lockdown we are now fully open again. Throughout the pandemic our focus has been on children's health and wellbeing, and making sure they are are safe, happy and comfortable. We have been supporting children through games, stories, outdoors play in the garden, forest school experiences and walks to the woods. Check out some of the wonderful experiences children have been enjoying below.
COVID operational safety guidelines are in place and working well. We want to reassure you that we are taking every step to ensure that your children remain safe, well and appropriately supported whilst enjoying nurturing and stimulating play and learning experiences.
If you have any concerns or questions, please do let us know.
'Children throughout the nursery experienced gentle nurturing care...children were settled and comfortable with staff who showed warmth and kindness consistently...the nursery children had access to fun and interesting learning opportunities...staff involved themselves in children's play, laughing and having fun with them'
